Le fauteuil du Diable est situé dans une clairière au sommet du Puy des Goules, à quelques centaines de mètres de l'endroit appelé la Vierge des Goule.
Nous ne pouvions pas imaginer un meilleur nom. Il s'agit simplement d'un grand rocher sculpté en forme de siège sous un hêtre magnifique. Il semble avoir été conçu pour une personne de taille moyenne. Une fois assis dedans, le visage de l'occupant est dirigé vers l'Ouest, vers le soleil couchant. Certains ont voulu voir dans ce un signe avec un certain vestige du culte païen.
Ici se sont les Anciens qui nous invitent à nous arrêter afin d’entrevoir ce
savoir oublié. Alors asseyons-nous sur cette chaise de pierre ombragée ! Laissons-nous
enivrer par ces doux parfums d’herbes sèches et de pins, que nous porte
la brise chaude de l’été. Laissons le vent s'amuser dans nos cheveux comme il caresse le feuillage des arbres. Ce vent qui a tant
